Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bravio. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The service
Bravio ("we", "us") is a personal finance tool. The service helps you track expenses, income, net worth, budgets, and savings rates. It includes AI-powered import of bank statements and payroll receipts.
Bravio is not a bank, broker, financial advisor, accountant, or tax advisor. We are a measurement and visualization tool, nothing more.
2. Your account
To use Bravio, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate registration information.
- Keep your password confidential and secure.
- Notify us promptly at contacto@bravio.mx if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity on your account. One person, one account — accounts are not transferable.
3. Pricing and billing
Bravio is a subscription service. Current pricing:
- Monthly: $199 MXN per month
- Annual: $1,499 MXN per year (saves ~37% versus monthly)
All prices are in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and exclude applicable taxes (IVA where applicable).
Free trial
New accounts include a 15-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. We will email you a reminder before the trial ends. If you do not cancel before it ends, your selected plan begins automatically and the first charge is made.
Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless you cancel. The renewal charge is the same as the initial charge unless we have notified you of a price change.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime in Settings → Account → Subscription, or by emailing contacto@bravio.mx. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
Refunds and cancellation
The 15-day free trial is your period to evaluate Bravio at no cost. During the trial no charge is made and you can cancel at any time without paying anything. We email you a reminder before the trial ends so you can decide in time.
Once the trial ends and a charge is made, charges are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges: monthly subscribers keep access until the end of the paid month, and annual subscribers until the end of the paid year. Cancellation stops renewal; it does not produce a refund of the period already paid.
To cancel, go to Settings → Account → Subscription, or email contacto@bravio.mx from the address on your account.
Receipts
Payment receipts are sent by our payment processor directly to the email address on your account. They will not come from noreply@bravio.mx. If you don't receive a receipt within 24 hours of a charge, contact contacto@bravio.mx.
Mexican electronic invoices (CFDI)
Stripe receipts are valid proof of payment but do not constitute a CFDI for tax deduction in Mexico. If you need an electronic invoice (CFDI 4.0), email contacto@bravio.mx with your RFC, razón social, régimen fiscal, uso del CFDI, fiscal-domicile postal code, and the email address for the XML/PDF delivery. We can only issue CFDIs within the same calendar month as the charge, per SAT rules.
Price changes
We may change pricing. We will notify existing subscribers by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.
4. AI features and accuracy
Bravio uses third-party AI models to parse bank statements and payroll receipts. AI parsing is not perfect:
- Categorizations may be wrong. You can edit any transaction.
- Amounts and dates may be misread, especially on poorly scanned documents.
- You are responsible for reviewing parsed data before relying on it.
Always review AI-parsed transactions for accuracy. We are not liable for decisions you make based on incorrectly parsed data.
5. Not financial or tax advice
Bravio is not a financial entity. We do not hold funds, do not execute transactions, do not provide credit, and do not offer investment products. Because we are not a financial entity, we are not registered with CONDUSEF or any other Mexican financial regulator, and we are not subject to their oversight.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of any law.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to collect data from the service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the service.
- Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise other users' accounts.
- Use the service to launder money, evade taxes, or commit fraud.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Your data
You retain all rights to the data you upload to Bravio. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service to you. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Communications
By creating an account, you authorize Bravio to send you:
- Transactional emails: account confirmations, password resets, payment receipts, security alerts, and service-related notices. These cannot be disabled while your account is active.
- Product and marketing emails: usage tips, product updates, activation reminders, surveys, suggestions, and occasional promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to contacto@bravio.mx.
Bravio does not share your email with third parties for marketing purposes. For more details on how we handle your personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
9. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.
10. Termination
You can terminate your account anytime in Settings → Account → Delete account. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or engage in conduct that harms the service or other users.
Upon termination, your access ends. We delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Mexican law (such as for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bravio and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and post a notice in the app at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the service will be resolved by the competent courts of Mexico City, Mexico, and you and we expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may correspond by reason of present or future domicile.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
